Easton's Shark Attack Party!

Easton Turned 5 at the beginning of March, and helped me to plan a shark party.
The invitations were made with a clothes pin, paper and googly eyes:

Easton helped me set up every aspect of the party and had the best ideas.

I made this shark with a tarp, pvc pipe, Dave's socks for eyes and paper teeth taped on:

                                                               Easton absolutely LOVED it!

We made lawn sharks, and warning signs:

Then we set up the main table with shark hats and fins for each friend:
Easton wanted to be in every picture.  He was so excited for his big day.

When friends started to come, we gave them a fin, and put them to work coloring shark pictures:

We played musical bubbles:

And shark, shark...fish!(like duck duck goose)
Easton came up with all the game ideas himself:)

Then we had the kids take turns walking the plank through shark infested waters.

Then it was time to sing happy birthday and have cake:

Easton told me the best part of his birthday was having people sing happy birthday to him.

We unknowingly bought trick candles...

The kids played till parents came, then they took their hammerhead shark take-home bags home:

This is what was inside:
(Thanks for "chum"ming around and making my party "jaw"some)

Here is Easton's birthday interview:

Easton is a very unique combination of personality traits, he acts shy, if he doesn't know you well, but at home he is all-boy and loves to wrestle, show off his muscles, and wear super hero costumes.  He is also extremely kind hearted and will share anything with anyone, loves his family, and loves to build things. He has always been so cuddly, and gives the best hugs.  It has been a delight to watch him change and grow!  Happy birthday Easton, we love you!
