Basketball

Landon just started basket-ball.
If you are imagining a bunch of future NBA stars dribbling and passing down the court,
take that image out of your head right now
and fill it with a team of cuties who are just learning to coordinate running and dribbling at the same time:)
A few friends told us about a Christian league in our city.
They have a practice and a game once a week, with little devotionals and they teach the kids values, and to work hard, and have fun!
It's fun to watch!
Before each game, they turn out all the lights and spot light a big blow up tunnel, and dramatically call each of the kid's names as they run out.

Dave, and my good friend and neighbor's husband coach the team as well as a 14 year old boy.  They huddle, and run plays, while our family cheers from the sidelines.

But I think the thing that makes it the most fun is all the friends and family who we get to see, and play with and against each Saturday.

Crazy hair week

And then we go home and the boys get very serious about rehashing it all
and giving me the play-by-play.
I try to listen and act like this is VERY serious buisness,
but all I can think of is how cute they are in their little jerseys running around out there.

After that, the boys like to go into the garage and "practice their moves".

And well, that's pretty darn cute too!
