Landon's teacher does something similar to a writer's workshop.
She encourages them to write about what they know, and do personal stories.
These pictures are from near the beginning of the year, so they are pretty old.
I want to include some of my kid's school work in our family journal because I want to remember little details,
AND...
Some of it is just downright hilarious!
I love when children draw pictures of their families!
I think it is so sweet to see how they depict each member of their family.
Landon got all our relative heights correct:)
This one is great too. I love how he gives away all of our ages.
Such cute little bikes and a great memory with his Dad.
He must have been really excited about 3/6 of our family Halloween costumes.
The cuteness is in the details.
This one was about pets. They were supposed to say how many they had, draw and write about them.
Translation: I have zero pets. I cannot afford a pet.
I love how he drew a big fat zero, and then erased it.
Also, he doesn't mince words, blunt and straight to the point:)
We got into an accident near the beginning of the school year and totaled our van.
You can read about it Here
Landon pretty much summed it up though, crying and all.
I am going to remind him of this one when he is a teenager:
